Also, my reign as guest blogger at Indie Dont Dance has come to an end. My last post is up now. Thanks for the memories.
I am in love with The Long Winters and Teddy Thompson. Maybe it is because I have been institutialized for 6 weeks and am desperate for new music but I went out a bought the Teddy Thompson CD already. You and his myspace page definitely picked the best songs on the CD but it is still so refreshingly different it was worth spending $14 of my very lean budget on.

Teddy Thompson is great. That song comes from the Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man soundtrack. A great movie that I highly recommend. I have some other Teddy Thompson stuff if you want to borrow.

We must not allow our creative protestto degenerate into physical violence. again and again we mustrise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soulforce. the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negrocommunity must not lead us to distrust of all white people, formany of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence heretoday, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up withour destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to ourfreedom.
