We went for Charles Bissell (lead singer of The Wrens) but stayed for the Slice. the chone and I were incredibly impressed by his catchy lyrics and really tight band. They played incredibly well together and had wonderful on-stage banter. Every kid in LA with plastic frame glasses was there rocking out and singing along to his every word. Makes me really want to get into him.

Did Apple copy a 2002 commercial from Lugz? Lugz thinks so. They are currently suing Apple and their Ad Agency: "If you look at these spots, common sense would
tell you that there's a problem here. The Apple commercial uses the
most powerful elements of our campaign, making the ads disturbingly
similar. We are prepared to vigorously pursue all legal remedies in
order to protect our rights."
If you ask me, it seems very doubtful that some of the best creative minds went out of their way to intentially rip off an idea from an obscure shoe manufacturer that ran three years ago.
