John Vanderslice at the Knitting Factory, Hollywood | pics

We went for Charles Bissell (lead singer of The Wrens) but stayed for the Slice.   the chone and I were incredibly impressed by his catchy lyrics and really tight band.  They played incredibly well together and had wonderful on-stage banter.  Every kid in LA with plastic frame glasses was there rocking out and singing along to his every word. Makes me really want to get into him.
