Al Gore on the Daily Show

Last night, Al Gore appeared on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart to talk about (surprise, surprise) global warming and the climate crisis that we are currently in.  If you have not seen this movie, I highly recommend you see it right away.  I loved it, but then again, I drive a Prius. So, it's tailor made for people like me.

Jon Stewart:
"Tell the truth.  When you do those slides when you show what could happen and you show Florida and you see how it's all almost underwater . . . When that happens . . . do you ever say to yourself . . . GOTCHA!"

First, it is not a consensus that any global warming has been caused by human activity. What we are battling with is a basic question of causation. Yes, earth may be getting warmer, but we cannot say with any certainty that we are causing that increase in temperature. The earth has always gone through cycles of temperature change.
