Posting From Peru

Many things have happened since I last left the great United States of America.  But, just a few quick things to report about from Peru:

1. Lets start with sad news.  Lake Titicaca means Lake of Stone Pumas, not Lake of BoobPoops as I previously believed.

2. Lake Titicaca is also home to a bunch of floating islands. Sadly, none of the floating island inhabitants had heard of my blog.

3. My new obsession is Inka Cola. Peru´s famous beverage. Apparently, you can order some from here, although I am not certain if it will work. I will tell you that Inka Cola looks like Mountain Dew and tastes like Bubble Gum.  It is pure goodness in a glass bottle.

4. Lima is a gross, shady city.  When we arrived there, the guy that picked us up to take us to the hostel said "Sometimes.    When we are at a red light.    The people break the window.  And steal your stuff."  Sounds like a fun place.

He returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his butt. The others raised their eyebrows and stared at him. The Canadian finally said "Well, will you look at that! I'm getting a fax."
