Sure, by definition, political ads, are mostly crappy. However, this one has real stopping power. It's a short one; only 15 seconds. And it starts with the catch phrase, "I was really fat." While I haven't seen an official transcript, I'm pretty sure it's FAT, not PHAT.
The spot goes on to convince us that since he promised his family that he'd loose 70 pounds, he'd be a great Insurance Commissioner. Makes perfect sense.
Seriously fatty, there's got to be a better platform.
